(8,361 posts)and it probably never will be. Perez and Sanders are together on the unity tour but some seem to think that would translate to putting issues and differences aside. I don't agree with that point of view, they appear to be playing good cop-bad cop intentionally. We have John Conyers bill to address healthcare problems related to ACA, we have always had division within the party and we should be honest about why some support it and some are reluctant to do so. The donor class is real on our side and that is what the fight is about but some are so caught up in the personalities I think they are blind to what change is needed. Our losses are well over 900 hundred and it is not the blame of any one person within the Democratic Party. This push pull is going to happen for at least the next year and a half. Unity should not be interpreted as forgetting differences, they are real and must be sorted out. I get e-mails from Senators in the form of surveys and they are clearly looking to see what direction Democrats want them to go.
