8. HA! Great question.

For years, I was an airline pilot and she travelled a lot, so we did not get on each others' nerves at home. Then, in 2008, I started doing the wilderness fire lookout gig. And did that until 2016 (I am taking the 2017 fire season off). So again, separation. Works wonders!
When we both retire, for good, I'm sure we will kill each other.
