5. Resource hogs.

Resource hogs like the one pictured are likely climate controlled year round yet the vast majority of their enclosed space is no doubt rarely used. How much time has anyone spent in the room behind that little window way off to the left? Or any other? Like gas guzzlers on the highway wasting gasoline and creating unnecessary demand that drives up prices for everyone, these resource hogs waste trees and other natural resources to build and maintain and create perpetual gas, electric, and water waste that drives up prices for sensible people and unnecessarily depletes resources.

The pursuit of grotesque excess is the root of all evil.
