Of course we need to talk about women's rights. But this was more about who talks about rights. This mayoral race wouldn't have been much of an issue here, but Bernie happened to endorse Mello and that didn't sit well.

It seems it's OK for some to endorse Dems who want to restrict women's rights. Very few around here seem to be as angry at Schumer for endorsing pro-lifer Bob Casey Jr. Or Bill Clinton endorsing pro-lifer Joe Donnelly. And there are more like that. The problem this time was that it was Bernie speaking up. Just about anyone else, and this race would have been mostly ignored.
