Is try to block some of the public venues that have Fox on their TVs. I have been successful most of the time in restaurants, doctors offices, lobbies, etc. with a polite request to turn the TV to some other channel. If they ask what, I recommend CNN or even the Weather Channel (that way the Fox-infused viewers will at least see an occasional story on climate change implications).
Many people never see any other channel, so Fox eventually becomes reality.
