3. I have dental insurance

and it barely covers anything.
A recent root canal and crown cost me $1200, Insurance picked up about $500.
They allow a certain amount, in the case of the root canal it was $900, and then paid only $300 of it.
I could barely afford it. I could see how many could not, even with insurance.
