of conning their dimwitted followers by stirring up their anger and resentment against paying for the "undeserving".

When they want to divert attention from the fact that they are robbing us in order to give tax cuts to the wealthy, they find a group to pick on that they think their dumbass voters will naturally resent.

Case in point: their latest spin re the AHCA is that the healthy shouldn't have to pay for those freeloaders who make bad health care choices, e.g. diabetics.

Doesn't matter whether the argument makes sense or has reality behind it. All the puke spin meisters want is a target their base can be propagandized into being against.
