3. The media is always in a battle to break stories first.

It's how they build their audience. So, major news outlets are working hard on Trump stories and have teams of people looking for the next breaking news story. That's a good thing, and something we should encourage and support by subscribing to such news outlets.

They're all commercial enterprises and have to show a profit to stay in business. We need them, as current events demonstrate.
