There are some real scumbags out there with no morals whatsoever.
Friend of mine retired about the same time as I did and he moved to Louisiana and used all his savings to purchase a house there.
He found out a short time later that the house was full of termites and needed to be torn down there was so much damage.
He blew his brains out after he received the news.
Home ownership is great. Just need to be careful.
