Uncle Joe is not a straight player. As Al Gore's vice president in the 2000 presidential race, Joe Lieberman damaged Gore's campaign especially in the closing weeks before the vote. His performance was terrible in the VP debate with Cheney, who creamed him.

He burned bridges later in his career with his self-obsessed petulant behavior. You don't hear a peep from Joe any more, with good reason.

He is more Republican than Democrat, and he would be a complete disaster as FBI Director. I hope the Dems have a long memory and will reject him outright.

I'd be very interested in knowing who pushed him for the job.
