It's yeast dough, rolled flat, sprinkled with ground walnuts and sugar (and maybe raisins), rolled up and baked. Sometimes the roll is one long piece, a strudel. Sometimes the roll gets bent into a circle, like the Potizza.
You will find cake-recipes similar to this from Austria ("Nuss-Strudel" to Iran ("Koloocheh" .
