2. Terrorism by it's very nature involves disseminating political, religious or fanatical views.

That people are terrified when a crime is being committed isn't a qualifier for something to be "terrorism". While acts of terrorism are aimed at groups of individuals, the message is intended to be aimed at the target populace as a whole. In a way, true terrorism uses discrete actions of limited scope & means as a symbolic aggression towards a larger population... because acting against an entire populace would be logistically impossible.

This guys actions were just pissed off retribution.
Calling it terrorism is being intentionally dishonest.
