21. That's not good

I'm retired(disabled) and I have been for years.

I even have to limit my DU time, so I don't go into an abyss.

It can go both ways - too much left and too much right.

Encourage them to get involved in other activities beside TV.
Encourage them to get out of the house.
Encourage them to exercise etc.
If there are community centers, encourage them to get involved in that.

Do they have Netflix?

It may not change their political leanings, but cable news all day can cause obsessions and raise blood pressure etc.
