34. Ah, no. What I saw was the Senate shutting her down through bullying tactics

This is not to say she can't withstand bullies, as the entire Republican Leadership can claim, but what I myself saw was a GOP leadership that wanted to shut Kamala down PRECISELY because she is now one of the defacto leaders of the Senate, of which only Elizabeth Warren and Barack Obama had displayed in their freshmen stints. In short, they are SCARED TO DEATH of her! A great sign and indication indeed.

Edited to add: Frankly, California will never go less than strong progressive on any statewide candidate, be it Senate, Governor, or Lt. Governor. Keep in mind that Kamala won a runoff with another DEMOCRAT, Loretta Sanchez, a stalwart of the House, and one who took out Bob Dornan, who essentially was Donald Trump without the billions of dollars.
