All you need is to love him and explain that racists exist and that they just happen to be the scum of the earth. As long as he knows you and his new brother have his back he won't need for anything else. And be open to discusing this issue many times and in depth.

It won't hurt to make friends with some Black people to learn their perspective. He is Black and should be taught to be proud of that.
