Ignore empty threats. The demands and threats you cry for are useless, and will be as ineffective as they have been to date.
If you're tired of the street preacher yelling about eternal damnation every time you walk past him, it seems rational to wear ear-buds and turn your jam up... or simply go a block out of your way if it wearies you to that extent.
