99. I worked at a sawmill for a while

Aug 2017

The dimensions given are what from the first cut on rough cut on the main cutting deck

that is before it goes to the kiln obviously this shrinks the wood

the rough wood is then run though a planer which is a upsized version of the one in your shop

at least that is the way it was done at the the Molpus Lumber Co. about 40 years ago
