(14,694 posts)A party who gets 1% of the vote. A party that is probably in line with 90% of the Democratic party platform. This paranoid obsession is disturbing on here. There is a better way to make the Green party irrelevant, and that is to usurp much of their platform, make it be clearly understood that Democrats are not bought and sold to the corporacracy. The rightward shift that the Democratic party did in the last 30 years opened up room for a more left party to wedge itself in. What did they think would happen when they decided to move right to fill in the gap where the Republicans shifted extreme tea bagger right?
Just get back to your core principles Democrats, and the Green party will become even more irrelevant. Jill Stein, and Ralph Nader are not bad people. What in the Green party platform do you object to? They just saw a gap, and need for one sector of people that were not being represented, and jumped in. They have every right to in an open democracy. This whole school yard taunting and teasing is embarrassing.
