(20,664 posts)how many of these nitwits live in New York, especially in what's called "The Southern Tier" (southern NY, along the PA border). Honeoye Falls is about 50 miles north of that area, but close enough. I've run into a lot of these fascist bastards down in that area over the years. Rebel flags mounted on the back of their pick-up trucks. No AMERICAN flags, just Confederate flags.
I went to Alfred University, back before the earth's crust was cool, and we "Northerners" used to call the area "Pennsyltuckey", because it was more attuned to southern living than Yankee living. It was a strange place. I'd never lived in a place like that before. Is was a dry town, no alcohol sold, but EVERYONE had it. That's where I first tasted moonshine, and I never tasted it again. Man........the memories that just cam flooding back of that place.
