.............simply supports him because he has an R after his name.

It would be a moot issue anyway. If he goes and pisses off the Republican Congress, guess who votes on whether to impeach him or not. So far, they've been protecting him because he's "one of their team." Guess what happens when he's not on their team anymore. The only thing he'll be running for in 2020 is "Best Act" at the prison talent show.
