We have to face that and keep working. Sometimes politics can be tough and heartbreaking.
I am pretty sure that a lot of the newly minted activists will give up in disgust if they don't get everything they want in 2018. I have seen this pattern for years. Those of us who have stuck it out through thick and thin will have to stay faithful.
