13. Trump never even had to deal with a board of directors in his business.

This was something I never knew until recently. It was, apparently, just Trump running things with no checks and balances, leading to his bankruptcies and failures---but, yet, his ability to self-promote and spread his "brand" with pure hucksterism. He IS amazing in this respect. No shock that truly successful businessman and military leaders that he's recruited have a different perspective on successfully managing things. They may, personally, have little regard for the "peons," but they know that management requires serious handling of the welfare of many levels down the line. My background is in academics, which does lead to interest in studying many other areas, even if distained by business. BUT, I was also a "corporate wife" for many years. Trump's claim of business success is not that of the usual "bigwig" executive. He apparently has never operated in business having to answer to others. Even the most high-powered executives he's put in place have experiences Trump completely lacks.
