12. Winning depends on much more than not losing.

Yes, failure by the Trump administration will play a role, but it will take more than that to ensure a large enough win to regain control. For that, we need a massive Democratic voter turnout to overcome voter suppression, gerrymandering and other efforts to lower the impact of Democratic voters.

We can't just depend on the failure of Republicans. We must go out there and win every race we can possibly win, even those that will be very difficult to win.

We have to work. We have to generate enthusiasm. We have to show people how a Democratic win will benefit them.

It's not going to be easy. We've lost touch with Democratic voters. We need them to show up, so we need to get to work, starting right now.
