This Ta-Nehisi-Coats essay...is one for the ages. [View all]

This is difficult reading. Am buying The Atlantic today, so I may yellow highlight darn near every word.

This resonates so much with me because Just yesterday I wrote here at DU, how "seasoned politicos know fully well that words used as weapons, matter."
Coats writes brilliantly that words used to polite-away the heart of Trump voters is to deny the on-going struggle for equality.

While his content is overwhelming to digest...somehow, it flows like a thirst quenching rushing river. I love this man and his gift.
