8. When I left my ex-husband, he threatened to kill me & my family.

Then, he immediately tried to do so by chasing me (I was driving away to escape) with his car and trying to crash into my car at speeds of over 60 mph.

After months of him stalking and terrorizing me, I was finally able to have him arrested and to take him to court and divorce him.

He'd verbally and physically abused me in the past but he went crazy with rage when I actually left.
