Medicare is wonderful and a godsend to seniors. But as a couple, we pay nearly $12,000 a year for it! Between deductions from social security for Part B, supplemental insurance and Drug insurance, it adds up. No dental or eye care either. Will these fees and deductions apply for all? We choose to have insurance that lets us travel, so no advantage plans apply. I'm still waiting to see how it's funded before I embrace it.
