the rule about not attacking Democrats is being used to justify attacking someone who is a DIABN (Democrat in all but name), even though it is verboten to do the same to even those few DINOs that vote with Republicans.
That's where it gets "sticky".
The rules SHOULD be changed to include Bernie Sanders, who votes with Democrats, shares their values, and runs as a Democrat. But I fear that would be met with fire, fury the likes of which has never seen before on DU. But it would solve a lot of the stickiness.
