(1,428 posts)Some here are absolutely outraged that their favorite candidate(s) will have to face challengers from within the party, competitors from opposition and third parties, and criticism from celebrity activists. This is part of the process. It's a given when you run for office there will be people who disagree with you and be very vocal about it.
The proper response to these situations are issue based reasons why our ideas and policy goals are better for the American public. Responses like, "He's not even a Democrat" and "She helped Trump get elected" will not inspire votes for Democrats. Average Americans have real world concerns like the cost of health care, student loan debt, and stagnant wages. I never hear people in the real world tell me their top concern is the level of party loyalty of any particular candidate or who some washed up celebrity voted for in the last election.
