(9,748 posts)86. You nailed it exactly!
That this post stands is an embarrassment to DU
And should be an embarrassment to everyone who replied with a thumbs up.
That it has been alerted on multiple times and stood is a testament to exactly what was said in THIS thread.
Had a less-than-a-hundred-post poster come in here, and identified any subset of Clinton voters - or any other individual Democratic politician's supporters, and said:
"Go form your own website. Hell you can have contests on your new forum to see who can get their tongues far enough up Hillary's ass..."
or
"Go form your own website. Hell you can have contests on your new forum to see who can get their tongues far enough up Pelosi's ass..."
or
"Go form your own website. Hell you can have contests on your new forum to see who can get their tongues far enough up Kamala's ass..."
or
"Go form your own website. Hell you can have contests on your new forum to see who can get their tongues far enough up Biden's ass..."
or
"Go form your own website. Hell you can have contests on your new forum to see who can get their tongues far enough up Obama's ass..."
Any single one of those posts would have been swarmed and hidden INSTANTLY. And rightfully so. The poster would be well on his way to a tombstone, PPR'd or sentenced by MIRT. We all know this.
I see the band is all here, double thumbs-ing up in a brilliant united stand of hypocrisy. Not one of you will admit it, but each of you knows, had ONE NAME been changed in that repulsive post, EVERY one of you would have alerted or voted to hide were you on the jury. Every single one of you.
Disgusting hypocrisy, on display by many, with no shame. Every one of you should be laughed at if you speak of "unity" again.

Being in the Leadership of The Senate Democrats is not "disassociating" oneself from The Party.

I'd pretend ignorance if were accurate too. Our biases get better mileage as such.

They created a separate little position for him that's not in line for real leadership,

Did you like her when she decisively and enthusiastically endorsed Hillary in the primaries?

Did she? That's nice but obviously Senator Gillibrand has moved on. Maybe we all should?

It wasn't a "Bernie is God" post. It was, as I read it, simply a "Bernie's on OUR side" post.
