Your nickname reminds of aspirin.

Aspirin is known since Antiquity. It was obtained by infusing the bark of white willow. It was named Hecate's potion after Hekate, one of the griek goddesses of the Moon. She was also associated to magic.

The potion being strong and bringing a quick relief of the pain, was seen as magic.

It is one of many explanations to the name
