(1,408 posts)He has an attitude but it's gotten more laid back over the years. Now he reminds me more of a 'Joe Cool' type.
That look was after we brought him and his brother 'Smokey' home after being fixed. I think it was sometime around Christmas.
We got them and 3 females, BB(Butter Brickle), Little Momma, Heather and another male, Buddy that our neighbor was going to take them out to an abandoned farm and leave them.
We said that was the wrong thing to do and there was a major argument over it. We had to threaten them with calling the police.
We took them in because at the time there wasn't a no-kill shelter very close and the inhumane society and county would have put at least 2 of them down right away. Since then we've been instrumental in getting the county to be more lenient and the Humane Society is now completely no-kill.
The heck of it is, we getting out of cat rescue(after 30+yrs) that year because of health problems but my wife and I couldn't let them go to die so we worked it out.
Here's a couple pics of Smokey. If you want to see pics of some of our other cats you can go here. https://maxpics.wordpress.com/our-feline-furbabies/
I'll warn you now it's a blog that I don't do much to keep up anymore. I use this page to park pics of our cats so I can post them elsewhere. I'm not going for clicks, I just don't want to post a half dozen pics on DU. It also gives a bit of a story about them.

Sorry my reply is so long but when I talk about our cats it's kind of like talking about our sons and grandchildren.
But more so.
