12. Depends who you ask?

The usual suspects will try to paint the GOP repeal effort as all Bernie’s fault and ignore the last 8 years of repeal efforts because the combination of the letters S, A, N, D, E, and R in a certain order throw them into a blind rage.

A smaller set of people realize that the GOP is going to do what they’re going to do regardless. The various quotes from GOP congresspeople clearly indicate that they’re only voting for this not because it’s a good idea, but because that was their war cry for 8 years are a clear indicator of that. One more talking point one way or the other isn’t going to change that vote.

For my part, I have no problem with what Sanders did or the timing of it. Keeping the message on point (healthcare as a right) and drawing a clear contrast is important as we wind up for 2018.
