Showing Original Post only (View all)Crazy Maine lady: I would lay down my life for Donald Trump! [View all]
A beleaguered code enforcement officer is trying to get a Trump-loving lady to take down her oversize signs. Now he's getting threatening phone calls. (This is just one town away from me):
I try to go as straight ahead as possible, Butler said in an interview, one of many hes given to the media this week. I look at what the code says and stick to the code and not try to get off on too many tangents.
Meaning he has no personal or political beef with Susan Reitman, whose home on dead-end Seavey Lane is adorned with two large signs: I (red, white and blue heart) Donald Trump and He Won Get Over It!
Butler wants Reitman to take down the signs but not because theyre too pro-Trump. Theyre too big.
The problem is, Reitmans not budging. Look, Im a 75-year-old widow living on a fixed income, Reitman said in a telephone interview from her home. There is no way I could ever pay that $100-a-day or that $1,000-a-day fine. He can put a lien on my house I have two mortgages. He can take my house. He can put me in jail or whatever. To me its the principle of the thing, you know?

He had Russia's help, he lost the popular vote, he should never have been considered to begin with

Right! I thought it would be billboards set up. Of course I don't agree with the signs, but...

Someone should tell her this: "Prove it! Walk the walk, don't just talk the talk! "

Then go ahead. Lay down your life. All the other deplorables can do the same.
