6. Trump supporters are rural men

How shocking. I'll guess a slight majority of that block is white.

Yet I can't count how many times I've seen threads and articles pushed here trying to deny that the working class white male vote was pivotal to the 2016 outcome. The rural subset is merely a more obsessed, angry and hateful version of the overall trend.

Not sure how Trump is splitting the party when 84% of the "GOP supporters" approve of his job performance.

Anyone who self identifies as Republican these days is basically a lost cause in terms of switchover. Imagine how many outrageous decisions and priorities they've had to ignore or approve of in recent years, while remaining loyal to the party.
