Even in my highly segregated area of the South in the '60s, I don't think folks would do that.
Why would anyone give a shit who buys their junk at a garage sale? I'll bet this was purely for show to their racist neighbors, family and social media friends. I hope some good white folks let them know that this is flat wrong.
Quote the Golden Rule to them and video their response!
