"Consider the source" In Soviet Russia they understood that what was presented on the officially accepted media was nothing but propaganda, the official view, in no way connected to reality.
We on the other hand still tend to believe that we have an "independent" media. How many people in this country know of the CIA infiltration of virtually every newsroom to manage the story of the "war" in Vietnam?
Beyond that the job of commercial media is not to provide you with good information but to provide viewers to the advertisers.
