(23,193 posts)After the JPR Forum was started, while the primaries were still on, Nadin left DU and went there. I never left DU of course, but I started to re-post the same pro Bernie OPs that I posted at DU over there as well (and yes I got a little flak there for being pro-Bernie without being anti-Hillary also). JPR started veering further into becoming an anti-Hillary forum (and less pro-Bernie) after it became increasingly apparent Hillary would win the nomination and that Bernie would endorse her. I stuck around for awhile to post anti-Trump material there after the Democratic Convention (and finally stopped posting there after I got reprimanded for being soley focused on stopping Trump).
Sorry for that long prologue, but it is dangerous to state that I ever participated at JPR without first providing the above context. So I will admit that Nadin impressed me with her integrity over one point at least. More and more "fake news" started being posted at JPR from highly dubious sources. Stuff about how Hillary was covering up a grave physical illness and the like. Anyway, while I was still there trying to convince folks that Trump was a grave danger, Nadin blasted JPR posters for re-posting and approving of illegitimate hit jobs against Hillary pushing conspiracies that weren't supported by facts. She thought it cheapened the entire forum to traffic in such garbage. Nadin got heavy push back over "free speech" and members not wanting JPR to censor content. Nadin argued about it for about a day and then she told JPR that under the circumstances, given how JPR was being used, she would have nothing further to do with that forum, and she left. A fair number of people asked her to reconsider but she was gone, far as I know for good.
