12. Not really talking about protests of the nature we have seen in the streets. I mean in the state

and local government offices. We need ask for or demand more face time with those who serve us in government. Remember they serve us and we need to demand their time to hear us and see us.

Then the next level of action is to hold Town Hall in very red districts with truth-telling sessions, and civics education. These people need to know and understand how their government at all levels works. While some here may say the won't pay attention, there will always be one or two who will learn something and will be able to slowly but surely spread the knowledge around. This is exactly how the GOP did their work over the past 40 years while we were either sleeping or patting ourselves on our backs for our accomplishments. We can never relax our activism but our activism must be at the level of truthful, simple explanations of what is really going on in our governments right now as well as reminding those who are able to remember which party actually worked for them and why.

Our main problem is we want instant results and instant success. President Obama tried to teach us how to work toward accomplishing our goals without destroying ourselves over imperfect solutions. We must resist, but we must also INSIST. That means educating ourselves and going to the voting booths in every election that comes up.
