Some of them may occasionally give a speech in which glimmers of reality can be seen, but in the end, it's all about money.

They either really believe the trickle-down bullshit, or they want to defund and break government.

Besides, their own beliefs and desires are secondary - it's what the Mercers and Waltons and Kochs demand, and that is now the only thing that matters.
