9. First put some truth laws back into what passes as our NEWS

Hell, if they had to tell the truth and we could actually depend on our news, that would help a lot.

Then just change whats acceptable behavior. I have a problem with these hate radio, hate tv, kinds of things, while they are usually claiming to cling to Christianity of all things.

Remember when we were young and church was a lot more about loving your neighbor, being kind, helping the poor? I am not a Christian, I am not religious, but I could see a benefit to mankind when they kept people reminded of kindness. They don't do that now.

Wage a war on hate, I guess. Turn the attitude of the country back to what it was when we were proud of her. All the hate and greed has blackened our souls, mine included. I have and do feel hate now too. I hate the banksters, I hate many of the politicians and corporations that have done so much damage to mankind. But even my heart would start to turn if little by little an ambiance of love and goodness dominated our feelings about one another. Of course that only works for me if those responsible are still held accountable.

But I guess my point to that was, that when society decides that it's not cool to wage hate, then the hate talk would at least diminish. And with it much of the hateful shit coming from rightwing hate radio. The audience would fade away leaving only the most rabid fools to listen or watch them.

I'm just being wistful today after the tragedy.
