I've been a progressive socialist for three generations (my grandparents helped found the CCF in Manitoba, with JS Woodsworth and Tommy Douglas.) This crisis transcends all left/right posturing. If we lose the big fight, there will be no small ones left. Eyes on the prize - and make no mistake the prize is liberal democracy.
