4. Or she thought complaining would do more harm than good

Everyone on the receiving end goes through the checklist about how serious the offense is, would it do any good to complain, what if I just box his ears next time he does it, will anyone believe me, will the network side with him over me, can I afford to lose my job over this, what are my prospects if I do (will I get a reputation as "difficult" ). If the scales fall on the side of I'll lose my job and become poison in the industry, I'll put up with getting my ass pinched.
