7. I agree it's speculation, but I would add that Ed ruffled their feathers on several issues

That Comcast would prefer not be mentioned. He did over a week straight of segments reporting the truth of the BP oil spill settlement, or lack there of. He interviewed many of the victims and my boss, one of the lead attorneys in the case, despite BP being one of the largest advertisers in the country.

More likely, in my opinion, the last straw had to be his support of Bernie Sanders, who is on record as vowing to break up the media oligarchies and push for publicly funded elections that would cost billions in political ad revenue!

This is what comes from the corruption of our election system, it allows for the corporate control over our government and for the existence of business oligarchies. Ed was the only one who put his country ahead of his own self interests. He is my HERO!
