(12,814 posts)23. 20,000?! Don't underestimate the danger of this novelty act, then.
You can be disgusted, derogatory, or dismissive, but the fact of the matter is a LOT of people are flocking to his candidacy. Does that validate his positions? No. But does it make him a real political force? Yes. At least for the moment.
If Trump doesn't get the nomination but his supporters retain a lot of momentum to influence the GOP candidate in the general election, then... what will that mean?
On the other hand, given what we've seen so far -- what if Trump DOES get the nomination?

It's Mobile, Alabama. Pretty dull. Apparently, the beaches are no longer all that attractive
