In reply to the discussion: Bernie Sanders' Campaign Reaches Voter Data Deal With Democratic National Committee [View all]chervilant
(8,267 posts)If you read the lawsuit, you'd discover that the DNC is contractually obligated to provide written notice and a ten day grace before taking any kind of action. So, DWS violated her own contract with the Sanders campaign. I wonder if that's "criminal"?
Thus far, I've yet to see any of Sanders' supporters aver that the staffer who was fired "can do no wrong" or is "in the clear." What I have seen is people wondering why, and by whom, this report was leaked in the wee hours of Thursday night/Friday morning. Further, people have been wondering why, if the firewall was down, other candidates' data bases were not checked, or presumed to remain unscathed. So many questions are about DWS, her partisan stance, and how badly the DNC needs money.
I find it pitiable when individuals who support Hillary 'wax bombastic' when anything happens in the Sanders campaign. Bernie is a candidate who has had virtually no M$M coverage, has not accepted any money from the corporate oligarchs, and has won the hearts of millions of concerned citizens, not to mention the majority of the Millennials. And, this incident has netted him a significant uptick in donations.
Yes, you are right: we will see what develops.
