Congressman Paul Kanjorski On Florida Governor Rick Scott: “Put him against the wall and shoot him.” - nothing happened to him, but he lost his next election

New York city councilman Charles Barron: "I want to go up to the closest white person and say: 'You can't understand this, it's a black thing' and then slap him, just for my mental health" - nothing happened to him

Massachusetts Representative Mike Capuano: “I’m proud to be here with people who understand that it’s more than just sending an email to get you going. Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary,” - nothing happened to him

Both sides have people who talk without thinking, and are filled with too much hate to be effective representatives of the people who elected them.
