Same thing happens at $10,000 an hour.
There's a sweet spot in the distribution of wealth where most everyone is doing good work they can be proud of, from line worker to CEO.
The U.S.A. has long been out of that sweet spot. Inadequately paid workers are actually deprived of the means to do excellent work. For example, the workers in a fast food place simply can't build a better hamburger with the tools and materials provided. And if they did they'd probably get fired for slowing down the process. Same thing happens with cars, same thing happens with schools.
