In reply to the discussion: Hillary Clinton’s Cinco de Mayo LA Rally Anything but Festive Due to Protesters [View all]seekthetruth
(504 posts).....and I've seen some of the stuff that's been posted by you on other threads Lewebley3.....you make very broad statements with little proof or explanation.
If anyone is helping the GOP, it's the DNC leadership. If they would listen to the platform of Sanders, they would realize that Bernie has the greatest chance of beating Trump in the fall on a myriad of issues. Namely, environmental responsibility, corporate responsibility, needless foreign engagements, the death penalty, campaign finance reform, and a host of others. Why do you think there is such a huge lack of support for Clinton this time around as compared to when Obama ran in 2008? And this lack of support truly could cause a severe fracture in the Democratic Party because we (Sanders supporters) are being asked to support a candidate who goes against so many things that we stand for. It's like asking staunch free-market supporters on the Republican side to support increases in the minimum wage. It just won't happen.
So unless Hillary decides to take the side of a complete ban on fracking, supports major healthcare reform, and begins showing a sincere stance towards non-interventionalism towards conflict in the Middle East (only supporting action when we have no other choice), then please do not expect our support.
