When I returned I quickly joined the VVAW. Spent a lot of time protesting the war. I love what Sanders represents as should all Democrats.
Hillary? I will have a hard time voting for her because of all her baggage, including being married to Bill, he signed NAFTA and cut the safety net out from under many low to middle wage earners, as examples of things he did that were wrong. NAFTA alone destroyed the manufacturing sector of the country and took away so many American jobs. I know, I was working for General Electric at that time and watched as many of our machinist jobs left and went to Asia mostly China.. Those jobs never came back....GE went from almost 50 machinists to less than a handful GE did keep all the higher skilled jobs such as tool and die makers, but those machinist jobs were/are gone forever. I was fortunate enough to have been a T/D maker and not affected by the giant suck of jobs leaving for China.
