6. Please don't think I'm justifying this, and I recognize you're not pointing any blame, but for those

who want to... people that are distressed enough to kill their children and then try to kill themselves are often not able to see just how badly off they really are. And by moving from Virgina to Arizona, she probably didn't have a support network that would recognize that she needed help she was unable to seek for herself. Even if she had recognized that she was having warning signs, the stigma against mental health care in this country means that some people will never ever seek help, either to not appear crazy, or because they fear consequences such as having their children taken away, which of course is a huge trigger for postpartum depression.
